My background is in functional fitness.
Strong(wo)man, I competed, I coached, I co-coached a BWL Olympic weightlifting club
And I am qualified to coach oly solo. I have been coaching oly lifting for 6 years.
I dabble in CrossFit, but I have to be careful with my hypermobility syndrome.
I still competed, though. I tried hyrox, and I ran a group called hyrox squad, I coached X-fit classes,
I did a running club for a bit, and then I came full circle back to strength. I still teach circuit classes
But education on strength training for longevity remains at the forefront.
Instead of trying to do it all, I niched down. I was diagnosed with ADHD and it fortified my
reason for finding a sensory sensitive gym!
One day, I'd like to have my own! That's my pipeline dream!
In the meantime, I'm in a women's health mentorship trying to help as many people as I can!
I will be taking another course too to help my strong mums and mummy lasses that lift.
